General x-ray service to open at Richmond branch

From Wednesday 6th April Nelson Radiology's Richmond branch will be offering a general x-ray service along with the current ultrasound service.

This is the first time Richmond will have such a service and will prevent patients from having to travel into Nelson or the Hospital.  A new digital radiology system will be installed which will allow images to be sent by fibre cable to our Nelson rooms where the duty radiologist will be able to give rapid and timely diagnostic reports.

The rooms are located in Unit 4, 315 Queen Street, beside Resene Paints and Domino's Pizza on the corner of Queen Street and Gladstone Road.  There is good parking in front of the office.
